Text copied on a column, Gothic script, burnished gold initials (1 and 2 lines high) on pink and blue backgrounds with white highlights. Dimensions: 120x80 mm From the Quinze Joies de Notre Dame, French prayers often included in books of hours. ATTACHED: Leaf extracted from a book of hours, on parchment, brown ink and rubric in red ink, with the end of a prayer included in the text called Sept requêtes à Jésus Christ [Domine Ihesu Christe qui septem...], followed by a long rubric in French announcing a text by Boniface VI on indulgences. Note the "tierch" form, reminiscent of northern French dialects. Dimensions: 212x152 mm
