An English flintlock pistol for the oriental market, circa 1800
Smooth brass barrel in 17.5 mm caliber, two acceptance marks and engraved silver overlay on the left side of the breech. Lightly engraved flintlock with cock safety and roller bearing frizzen (signature erased). Full stock with barrel bedding of dark horn as well as florally engraved silver furniture and ramrod with bone tip. The iron trigger guard loosened, one lock screw missing, stock bumped. Length 37 cm.
