A Balkan-Ottoman flintlock pistol, early 19th century
Smooth Damascus(?) barrel in 15 mm caliber, fine geometric silver inlay on top, floral silver ornamentation above the breech, lined ignition hole. Flintlock, lock action defective. Carved full stock with brass furniture engraved and in relief. Stock nose cap and ramrod socket not matching. Stock somewhat bumped, signs of age and use. Length 48 cm.
