A silver-mounted Ottoman/Albanian Miquelet pistol, circa 1850
Smooth bore barrel in 15.5 mm caliber, numerous marks above the chamber (lining missing), illegible signature on top of barrel, tang missing. Lightly cut miquelet lock. Slender, carved full stock with elaborate silver furniture in relief, fine nielloed band decoration on the pommel. Ramrod missing. Iron parts cleaned and with fine pitting. Length 46 cm.
