A North African miquelet blunderbuss, 19th century
Octagonal, smooth bore barrel with a slightly funnel-shaped widened muzzle, a rear sight above the chamber and a brass band inlay behind it. Large miquelet lock with engraved brass inlays. Slender full stock with graphic notch decoration and an iron barrel band, lightly cut trigger without guard. Iron parts patinated and spotted, butt with wormholes. Length 80 cm.
