An Afghan blunderbuss jezail, early 20th century
Heavy, smooth barrel with funnel-shaped widened muzzle, the top with numerous ornamental engravings. Flintlock with a somewhat pitted lock plate, a crown faintly visible on it. Full stock with mother-of-pearl inlays, butt end attached. Iron trigger guard. Weapon reworked, stock with repaired cracks. Length 97 cm.
