A blunderbuss, circa 1800, assembled from old parts
Octagonal barrel merging to round after a baluster in floral relief, with a cannon muzzle widening to form a funnel. Converted percussion lock with cut cock, on the lock plate faintly recognizable cipher "Krone/GR", one retaining screw missing. Lacquered full stock with brass furniture. Iron ramrod with brass tip. Lock and piston with traces of corrosion, stock with several wormholes, butt end with cracks and blemishes, underside of forearm with stress cracks. Length 81 cm.
