CHINA - GUANGXU period (1875 - 1908)
Pair of shangping porcelain vases, powder-blue enameled and decorated in gold enamel with medallions of flowers, birds and fruit, a lotus frieze and stylized 'shou' (longevity) character among foliage along the shoulder and a lingzhi frieze around the neck. On the reverse, the six-character Guangxu mark.
(Lamp-mounted, gold enamel wear, star-shaped crack under the foot of one).
