Very large oval-shaped VASQUE, former baptismal font, in red Verona marble, Gotic period, composed of three elements: the bowl, carved on the outside of the rim with a ribbon motif, and heads of bearded men and grinning monkeys all around the bowl, a curved foot, widened at the base, and a square base probably of later date. Heavy wear and tear, old weakness at the base due to marble veining. 111 x 107 x 93 cm.
