August Gaul Duck 1911 Bronze. Height 50 cm. Signed 'GAUL' and with the foundry stamp "H.NOACK BERLIN" on the back of the stepped plinth. Single figure from the eastern group of the Berlin duck fountain (cf. Gabler 157). - Finished in great detail with a beautiful dark brown patina, partly more vivid due to external placement.
