Boeotian black-figure bowl kyphos. Circa 540 BC. H 9.3cm, W with handles 23cm, ø mouth 16.8cm. Animal friezes on both sides between handle palmetto. One side with two opposing stags, the other with a stag and a hind. Details in red and white. Three red lines inside. Pieced together from fragments, with numerous small chips to the broken edges, small flaws retouched. Provenance: Ex collection I. L., Austria, acquired between 1960 and 1990.
