Wood veneer and marquetry inlaid with sycamore, amaranth, boxwood, rosewood, rosewood and satinwood inlaid with "à la reine" marquetry. It opens with a drawer over a flap and two leaves. When open, the flap reveals six satin-finish veneered drawers around seven paperweights. Folded front mounts, curved crosspieces, resting on four small cambered feet, trimmed with bronze foliage, three-point locks for the flap, set in Breche marble top.
