Beautiful mahogany and mahogany veneer half-moon chest of drawers opening with three drawers, one of which is in the waistband, two in the lower body with recessed middle rail and two side panels, resting on four tapered legs with fluted upstands, gilt bronze trim such as pearl rings on discs, asparagus tips and floral cabochons, top of lightly veined white marble with protrusion encircled on three sides by a cavet.
Stamped "N. PETIT" and "JME" on the head of the front jamb.
Louis XVI period.
