Straight desk in rosewood veneer, amaranth, stained wood and light-colored fillets, opening on the front with a drawer over a flap and two four-quarter rosewood veneered leaves depicting butterfly wings or fans in a scalloped cartouche surround and corner spandrels, flapped uprights, sides divided into three rectangular reserves, two veneered in rosewood chevrons, scalloped crosspieces. When open, the flap reveals six drawers around five paperweights. Grey veined marble top surrounded by a cavet on three sides, foliate bronze trim.
Stamped "LEONARD BOUDIN" and "JME".
