Doccia table service, Richard Ginori manufactory, 20th century Porcelain. Mark: "Richard Ginori" with crown in green. Conservation: excellent The elegant service is decorated with scattered bouquets and twigs in monochrome purple placed on porcelain of the "Vecchio Ginori" pattern that has become iconic. The pieces have a mixtilinear rim fashioned in the shape of a wicker basket with four sets of sinuous ribs in relief that descend to the bottom. Motif called "Saxon style" as it reworks that in use as early as the 18th century at Meissen in Saxony and later taken up by the Doccia manufactory in the second half of the 18th century The service for 12 people has 41 pieces and is composed as follows: 12 soup plates (diameter 23.5 cm); 12 flat plates (diameter 24.5 cm); 12 dessert plates (21.5 cm); 1 soup tureen (height 21 cm; length 34 cm); 1 salad bowl (max. height 10.5 cm; 24.5x24.5 cm); 1 round serving platter (diameter 33 cm); 1 oval serving platter (length 33.5 cm); 1 oval tray (length 23 cm)
