"Vecchio Ginori" table service. Doccia, Richard Ginori Manufactory, 20th century White porcelain. Mark: "Richard Ginori Italy" with crown in green. Very good preservation In this simple and elegant service, now iconic, the porcelain has been left white, without decoration, to enhance its plastic form from the wicker basketwork rim with four series of sinuous ribs in relief that descend to the bottom. Pattern called "Saxon-style" as a model that reworks that in use as early as the 18th century at Meissen in Saxony and then taken up by the Doccia manufactory in the second half of the 18th century The service for 12 people has 41 pieces and is composed as follows: 12 soup plates (diameter cm 23); 12 flat plates (diameter cm 26); 12 dessert plates (diameter cm 22); 1 soup tureen (height cm 22; length cm 32); 1 salad bowl (height cm 10; cm 26x26); 1 round serving dish (diameter cm 33); 1 oval serving dish (length cm 34); 1 oval tray (length cm 23)
