GEORGES LUCIEN GUYOT (1885-1973) Cynocephalus in Meditation, the model designed around [1954], print numbered 5/8 Sculpture. Black patina bronze proof. Lost-wax casting. Limited post-mortem edition produced between 1980 and 1990. Signed GUYOT on one side of the terrace, stamped Fonderie de La Plaine - Cire perdue and numbered 5/8 on the back of the terrace. Height: 46cm - Length: 48,5cm - Width: 24,5cm Provenance: Collection X., Paris. Purchased by the current owner's mother from Galerie Dumonteil, rue de l'Université, Paris. The current owner's grandfather and mother were close friends of Georges Lucien Guyot and also acquired works during his lifetime.
