An antique original woodblock print in the Ukiyo e style by Hokusai, dates circa 1860. The engraving consists of two parts located on one sheet. This original engraving by Hokusai from his Manga, which he conceived back in 1812, is a book spread. At the top there is a cannon firing with a lot of smoke. The bottom shows the сrossbow bird trap. Provenance: from the collection of Dr. Horacio Fabrega, Pittsburgh, PA. Ukiyo e is a genre of Japanese art that flourished from the 17th through 19th centuries. Its artists produced woodblock prints.
