China, second half of the 20th century. Baluster vase decorated with chimeras on a black background of lotus and foliage. Applique foliage at the base. The gilded bronze handles represent reclining chimeras from which ribbons emanate. Frieze of flowers and foliage on the shoulder. Height: 37 cm. Minor damage to the lip.
