SIGNAC (Paul).
Autograph letter signed [to Belgian painter Louis-Gustave Cambier]. Antibes, May 29, 1917. 1 p. folio on fine laid paper.
"You and Madame Cambier [Louis-Gustave Cambier's wife, Juliette Ziane, was also a painter] have spoiled our Ginette [Paul Signac's daughter], who was very proud to receive these pretty dolls in the mail. She thanks you for this joy and the parents are very touched by this kind attention. Would you like us to visit you on Wednesday, on the train that arrives at three o'clock? Without notice, we'll go... If Mr Ledoulx is there... please, please, please, turn this chalice away from me!"
