ROBERTO FANTINI (Rome, 1960). "The fourth mermaid", 2003. Oil painting with mixed media on Juta canvas. Enclosed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Measurements: 92 x 160 cm. Painter and sculptor graduated at the I Liceo Artistico Via Ripetta, Roberto Fantini is inspired by the world around him: travel, dance, theatre, fashion or photography are some of the themes that invade his compositions. In his works, the problems of identity and character occupy a central place, using surrealist elements. The artist himself states "Without knowing it, I share my emotions with the canvas that absorbs and reflects my feelings". Fantini has exhibited in galleries and at major art fairs in Italy and abroad, including the Amsterdam Art Fair, the London Art Fair and the New York Art Fair in Southampton.
