Hollow oval dish. Plain base extended by a crown of gadroons. Wing bordered by a double brace engraved with foliage and small trellised reserves on an amati background. Silver-plated. Brabant hallmark with crowned lion, Brussels hallmark with St. Michael's head and a very faint goldsmith's hallmark, possibly an owl, partially covered by a Belgian import hallmark (1831-1868).
