Brown lacquered scabbard with ishime-ji background, iron tsuba naga-maru-gata decorated with a blooming chrysanthemum, iron fuchi-kashira, two sentoku menuki with gold highlights depicting a cormorant on an oar, the tsuka laced on same.
(Soiling, traces of oxidation on the blade, blunt kissaki; scabbard damaged, nakago jammed in the tsuka).
