The War Wagon (1967) - Lomax (Kirk Douglas) Leather Vest Western style leather vest worn by the character of Lomax, actor Kirk Douglas in the classic 1967 Western The War Wagon. Rancher Taw Jackson (John Wayne) is out for revenge. He was shot by a gunslinger, Lomax (Kirk Douglas), on the orders of mining tycoon Frank Pierce (Bruce Cabot) and framed for a crime he did not commit. Now out of prison, he teams up with former enemy Lomax for an elaborate heist targeted at one of Pierce's gold shipments. This is a custom made brown leather western style vest without a collar and with two top pockets. The vest was worn by Kirk Douglas throughout most of the film and has a Western Costume Company typed label stating, ‘2223-2/Kirk Douglas/chest 42-vest’. This piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions.
