BATES MOTEL (T.V. SERIES, 2013 - 2017)/THE RETURNED (T.V. SERIES, 2015) - Norma Bates' (Vera Farmiga) House Deed and Jake Abernathy's (Jere Burns) ID with Dr. Hiromoto's (Hiro Kanagawa) Badge - Norma Bates' (Vera Farmiga) house deed and Jake Abernathy's (Jere Burns) ID from Bates Motel along with Dr. Hiromoto's (Hiro Kanagawa) badge from The Returned. Both series were created by Carlton Cuse. In Bates Motel, Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) found his mom's deed to the house before sex trafficker Abernathy came to visit in Season 1. Hiromoto wore his badges throughout Season 1 of The Returned.
This lot consists of a two-page "warranty deed" addressed to "Norma Louise Bates, Widow," dated 2011, and labeled "White Pine Bay, OR"; a plastic Washington driver's license labeled "Jake Abernathy"; a metal badge engraved "Dr. Hiromoto"; and an acrylic ID badge with a picture of the doctor. Also included is a "Travel Guide to Costa Rica" book cover made by production for Bates Motel Season 2, where Norma's brother Caleb (Kenny Johnson) resurfaced from Costa Rica, applied over a copy of a separate unrelated book but ultimately unused in the final cut. The cover and the book's spine exhibit damage from production. Dimensions: (largest) 8.5" x 11" (21.75 cm x 28 cm)
