Officer's sabretache of the Imperial Guard Hussar Regiment of Emperor Paul, Emperor of all the Russias. 1796-1801.
Gold and silver embroidery on red velvet, sewn on a brown morocco core. Leather straps. 29 x 25.5 cm.
Often confused with the sabretache with the cipher of Francis Emperor of Austria, this sabretache does bear the Cyrillic letter П, initial for ПАВЕЛ (Paul).
