Joseph Griesmar alias Béhé (1962) is a French cartoonist. After graduating from high school, he went on to study at the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg in Claude Lapointe's studio. He made his debut in the 9th art by creating illustrations for Larousse pocket books, as well as for advertising. In 1986, he made THE decisive encounter: Toff, a young scientific researcher with whom he began working on his future album Péché Mortel, published by Dargaud. He continued his collaboration with the publisher, signing volume 1 of Pour l'amour de l'art. He then joined Vents d'Ouest, where he published Double je in 1992. At the same time, he took part in a book on exclusion, Nique la crise, in 1995, and continued with Opération Minuit à Rhodes. In 1997, he began work on the sequel to Péché Mortel, the first volume of which was republished by Vents d'Ouest, and became a professor at ESADS in Strasbourg. In 2001, he signed Le Manuscrit, the first volume of Le Décalogue, a series scripted by Frank Giroud, and founded www.atelierbd.com, the first online comics school. He has just completed Chimères, a new series for Éditions Vents d'Ouest's Equinoxe collection, based on a script by Mosdi.
