CHINA FOR VIETNAM - THIEU TRI period (1841 - 1847)
Set of three porcelain dishes decorated in blue underglaze with two dragons facing each other around the flamed pearl. Some with metal-rimmed wings. On the reverse, the "Thiêu Tri niên chê" mark (firing defects, tiny chip).

Provenance: Agnès Nguyen Huu-Hào sister of Nam Phuong, last empress of Annam (Vietnam), then by descent.
