ETRUSCAN CORINTHIAN EARTHENWARE OLPE, VII-VI CENTURY BC.
with round mouth, tall cylindrical neck flared at top, distinguished by a raised collar. Elongated ovoid body, disc foot. Ribbed ribbed loop set vertically on lip and shoulder, flanked above by casters. Exterior of foot painted brown, interior bottom of foot spared, body decorated with tabs on shoulder. Fragmentary. Break at neck with detached element.
Measures 21.5 x 14 cm.
The lot is reported at the Soprintendenza archeologica belle arti e paesaggio of Rome.
The lot cannot be exported out of Italy.
