Exceptional carved and gilded wood settee decorated with pearls and alternating acanthus bases surmounted by water leaves. The scrolled armrests and baluster columns are carved with foliage, scrolls, imbricated piasters and rosettes. The armrest support is a detached leafy baluster. The backrest is crowned with a wreath of roses and laurel leaves carved au naturel and tied with ribbons. All openwork. The crosspieces are carved in recall. Rosettes. Tapered legs with twisted rings surmounted by foliage falls, filleted fluting with asparagus.
