Part of a long diplomatic cruise that took him from Kronstadt to Naples, via Stockholm, Copenhagen, Cherbourg and Cowes (England). - Menu for the dinner offered to the Tsar and Empress by President FALLIÈRES on July 31, 1909 aboard the battleship Vérité in Cherbourg harbor, 4 pp. large in-8 in a cover illustrated in color by Calbet with imperial arms enhanced in gold and silver, engraved by Stern held in place by two cords, stains not affecting the text, partial cut at the fold. The meal for 80 guests is followed by a naval parade in the harbor. - Menu for the luncheon offered to the Tsar and Empress by President Fallières on August 1, 1909 aboard the battleship Vérité, 4 p. in-8 in a cover illustrated in color by G. Scott featuring two Russian and French sailors with flags, menu engraved by Stern held together by a cord. Meal for 95 guests. - Program for the visit of the Emperor and Empress of Russia to the President of the Republic in Cherbourg harbor, July 31 - August 1, 1909, in-12 of 28 pp held together by two tricolor ribbons. Also included is the menu for the dinner served on August 3 [1909, according to a later handwritten pencil note] aboard the battleship Vérité, 4 pp. large in-8 with gilded RF initials, rooster and French flags, gilded monogram of Armand Fallières inside, menu engraved by Devambez, stains and partial cuts at fold.
