Bronze case, partially fire-gilt. Napoleon Bonaparte on horseback - fully sculpted - crowning a naturalistic clock case above a stepped base with relief of an eagle above a tropaion, feet on the front with scrollwork. Enamel dial (min. missing) with blue Roman numerals and blackened hands. Round brass plate movement, marked 'ETABLISSEMENT BARÉ A PARIS', thread suspension with fine adjustment (pendulum missing), strike on bell. 19th century. H. 37 cm.
