Architecturally structured black marble base, also the clock case, crowned by a fully sculpted bronze sculpture of Napoleon. Glazed enamel dial with Roman numerals, blackened hands. Round brass plate movement with hallmark 'BREVETE 'S.G.D.G.', numbering '4975 C' and round mark 'Japy Freres', lock plate striking mechanism with strike on bell, pendulum on spring suspension (cover verso missing, case slightly dam.). France, 2nd half 19th century. H. total 52 cm.
