Custom-made by the Schlenker and Kienzle company. Massive brass case with round opening, inside a slider for the date display, above a superstructure with the signs of the zodiac on panels in relief. Dial with flaming sun, the inner ring displays the month. Dial ring with Roman numerals, the starry firmament around the sunbeams. Movement with 1/2 and 1/1 strike on gong. Black Forest, around 1920. H. 243 cm, W. 63 cm, D. 30 cm.
