Saxon Cup with mirrored F
Discolored glass with cut and frosted edge. Wrapped plate foot with leaf wreath, engraved baluster stem with raised bubble in the base of the conical bowl. Crowned round cartouche around the monogram in the nimbus, palm branches on the sides. H 21 cm.
Mid 18th century.
The goblet could have been commissioned for the birth of a Saxon prince.
