Rococo silver tabatiere, gilt. Elongated, rectangular, bulbous body with rounded, curved corners, divided by vertical lines. Overlapping hinged lid with narrow handle and relief decoration covering the entire surface. Framed by volutes, depicting the interior of an inn with several guests seated at a large table, the delivery of a beer barrel with a handcart and a dog hunting a large bird. Shaped, hallmark, Master Esaias III Busch (becomes Master 1704). Weight approx. 155 g. H. 3.5 cm. 12.5 cm x 5.5 cm. Cf. Seling, 2007, BZ 2080, no. 1973.
