Pair of resting lions with pedestals in dark patinated bronze and red-grey veined marble. Over a rectangular base, a fully sculpted depiction of a sleeping and a watching lion in the style of the famous large travertine originals created by Antonio Canova in 1783-1792 for the tomb of Pope Clement III in the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome. H. 15 cm. 32 cm x 12 cm.
