Animal leather sheath resting on a wickerwork base. Headpiece formed by six large twisted scrolls. Eyes highlighted with kaolin. Nigeria. Height: 58 cm. Provenance: Dispersal due to inheritance from the Art Premier collection of the late Mr. "S" (1927 - 1992), professor at the University of Liège, then passed on by descent.
