Rococo shooter's spoon from the former estate of a Bautzen industrialist
Silver. Oval bowl merging into a conical handle. Rounded handle with rocailles and flowers in relief. The back of the grip with the dedication "Christ. G. Tietzens Schützen Andencken. 1784". Marked, tremolier stroke, inspection mark, master's mark "K O". Weight approx. 45 g. L. 20 cm.
Christian Gotthelf Tietzen was "Oberschützenältester Kämmerer" in 1798 and took over the so-called copper hammer in Bautzen in 1771, a leading company in the processing of copper.
