Large krater vase with antique-style relief decoration Light blue and white, so-called jasperware (earthenware). On a round foot, a pressed, bulbous, chalice-shaped body with a wide, sweeping rim. Side bow handles and domed lid with stylized pine knob. The wall with classical relief decoration of antique-style female figures and putti in a stylized landscape on a light blue background. After designs by John Flaxman. Circumferential acanthus and lancet leaf frieze. Year letter. Impressed manufacturer's mark. H. 44 cm.
