Characteristic Art Nouveau work by Adolf Hengeler, painted in a fast, broad style. Inspired by Franz von Stuck and Arnold Böcklin, he began to paint angelic girls and putti playing the shawm around 1900, conveying lyrical, idyllic moods of nature.
