Alfred Jensen (1859 Randers - 1935 Hamburg) Two-master on a rough sea Atmospheric work by the well-known marine painter. The artist first began his training in Hamburg with H. Leitner and continued it in Kassel with E. Neumann. His main subjects were ships in Hamburg harbor and on the high seas, and from 1900 he was a professor at the Hamburg School of Arts and Crafts.
