A French miniature cannon, dated 1722
Slightly conical brass barrel with fine ribbing and strongly reinforced muzzle. Smooth bore in 17 mm caliber. Lateral trunnions, two angular lugs. Domed breech with a simple cluster. Engraved coat of arms in a leaf wreath above the breech, dated "MDCCXXII" between the trunnions. On a matching wooden mount with blackened iron fittings. One clamp for barrel attachment missing. Barrel length 33.5 cm, total length 61 cm.
