Contemporary red morocco, spine ribbed and decorated, fleur-de-lys in the centre ribbons, central gilt coat of arms, gilt festoon, gilt roulette on the edges and inside, gilt edges, rubbed, one bit rubbed and split at the head for 3 centimetres, various other minor defects.
Provenance: Arms of Marie Leczinska, wife of Louis XV, Queen of France and Navarre from 1725 to 1768.
