ALFA-ROMEO JUNIOR ZAGATO 1.3
At the end of the sixties, Alfa-Roméo continued its long-standing collaboration with the coachbuilder Zagato (1900, Giulietta (SZ), Giulia (TZ)), and decided to expand its range of "small" coupés to support its most successful model: the Bertone coupé.
The Junior was based on the Bertone chassis, which was shortened by 10 centimeters. Initially, it is equipped with twin shafts in its smaller 1.3-liter displacement. It is fitted with the traditional 5-speed gearbox.
Its distribution was much more limited than that of its big brother. After 1108 units produced, this model was slightly modified for the end of 1972, mainly by adopting a slightly larger 1.6 l engine.
Production came to a definitive halt in 1975, with the last 402 examples added.
The model presented here was launched in June 1972, making it one of the last 1.3-liter models. In its classic color combination of white with black interior, this vehicle is in perfect condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. It has benefited from a complete restoration, enabling it to cover all distances. It benefits from a FIVA card. It has 7,060 km on the clock.
