Small marine flintlock blunderbuss, strong two-register barrel, bronze, octagonal then round, ovalizing; silver-plated breech tail, lightly engraved; round-bodied, plain, ice-polished lock, signed: "Cassagnard à Nantes", swan-neck hammer, pebble battery; cut-out iron fittings engraved with foliage; walnut stock carved with a foliate flower at the rear of the breech tail and profusely embellished with silver filigree; wooden ramrod with brown horn tip; length 62.5 cm.
Late 18th, early 19th century. Very good condition.
