Model 1866 "Chassepot" marine rifle, barrel stamped and dated: "T 1868", serial numbered: "A 3509", caliber 11 mm; receiver marked: "MANUFACTURE IMPÉRIALE - Tulle - MLE 1866"; iron fittings, buttplate marked: "2" and stamped with the anchor; well-stamped walnut stock with its badge marked: "R - 1868 - DT - OCTOBRE" and, in the center, the peg: "M I", it is stamped: "A 3509". (The rubber breech plug has been removed, as it was blocking operation). Very good condition. A model 1866 Chassepot saber-bayonet, cross-struck with anchor and numbered: "M 29284"; blade engraved and dated June 1873; bronzed iron scabbard also stamped with anchor and numbered: "U 42". Good condition.
