Marine officer's uniform sword, all-brass hilt, chased and gilded, cross guard decorated with an anchor, gilded brass spindle imitating a filigree; single-edged straight blade, gilded and one-third blued; leather scabbard with two brass fittings (traces of gilding), cap signed: "KOHL STUTTGART"; length 101.5 cm. (The scabbard may not be the original one and may be from the Confederation of the Rhine period).
