Large naval officer's dagger, double-sided, chased and gilded brass, cloverleaf-shaped quillons, body knot decorated with an anchor, ebony handle with oblique grooves; straight, diamond-shaped blade, gilded and blued on one half; leather scabbard with two brass fittings; length 52 cm. (Antique scabbard, but probably not original).
