Pair of marine or travel flintlock pistols, octagonal brass barrels, silver sights, stamped on the left sides with Saint-Étienne, 15.5 mm caliber; engraved iron breech shanks, bearing an eyecup; brass round-bodied locks, swan-neck hammers ; brass fittings, cut and engraved with foliage and foliate scrolls, flat oval caps; walnut stocks, finely checkered grips and fluted tops; horn-tipped brass ramrods; length 29.5 cm. (One large lock spring changed).
First Empire period, circa 1810. Good condition.
